Keep Gardner’s IT Staffer from getting caught in your spam filter. Below you’ll find whitelisting instructions for the following E-mail systems: Outlook 2003/2007, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, and Gmail.
Outlook 2003
Add Gardner’s “From” address, mail@grgc.com, to your Safe Senders list:
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail.
- On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
- In the Add Address, put mail@grgc.com
- Click OK.
Outlook 2007
Add Gardner’s “From” address, mail@grgc.com, to your Safe Senders list:
1. On the Actions menu, highlight Junk E-mail, and click Junk E-mail Options.
2. On the Safe Senders tab, click Add.
3. In the Add Address, put mail@grgc.com.
4. Click OK.
AOL
Add Gardner’s “From” address, mail@grgc.com, to your AOL address book:
- On the Mail menu, click Address Book.
- On the Address Book window, click Add.
- In the Other E-Mail field on the Address Card for New Contact window, put mail@grgc.com.
- Make mail@grgc.com the "Primary E-Mail" address by checking the associated check box.
- Click Save.
Yahoo
Set up a filter to redirect Gardner’s IT Staffer into your inbox:
- Click Mail Options on the upper right hand corner.
- Select Filters on the bottom left corner.
- On the Filters page, click Add.
- Update the "From header:" rule with the following 2 pieces of information: "contains" and mail@grgc.com. (This instructs Yahoo to identify our newsletter based on our “From” address.)
- On the Choose Folder menu, select Inbox.
- Click Add Filter.
Hotmail
Add Gardner’s “From” address, mail@grgc.com, to your Hotmail Safe List:
- Click Options on the upper right hand corner.
- Click Junk E-Mail Protection on the top of page.
- Select Safe List
- On the Type an address or domain field, add mail@grgc.com.
- Click Add.
Gmail
Add Gardner’s “From” address, mail@grgc.com, to your Gmail Contacts List:
- Click Contacts on the left side of any Gmail page.
- Click Add Contact.
- On the Primary e-mail address box, add mail@grgc.com.
- Click Save.
