We are seeking an experienced Six Sigma Black Belt with a background in manufacturing—preferably within pharmaceutical packaging or distribution—to support a process improvement initiative. This role will focus on conducting time studies to assess and optimize the efficiency of how medications are packaged, received, and stored.

The data collected will drive recommendations for improving packaging methods to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. This position requires frequent travel to multiple sites within the Orlando-Tampa corridor.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct onsite time studies to evaluate current processes related to medication packaging, unpacking, and storage.
Collect, analyze, and model data to establish baseline labor timing and process efficiency metrics.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and potential efficiency gains in pharmaceutical packaging and distribution.
Develop a user-friendly model that captures process attributes, providing insights into labor requirements and cost implications.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to align study findings with business objectives.
Coordinate travel and logistics to ensure efficient scheduling across multiple locations.
Engage with site personnel, ensuring transparent data collection while maintaining compliance with safety and operational guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

Six Sigma Black Belt certification with demonstrated experience in manufacturing; pharmaceutical packaging experience is highly preferred.
Strong background in process improvement, time studies, and lean methodologies.
Ability to collect and analyze data to drive decision-making and efficiency improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must be comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.
Proficiency in Excel and ability to develop analytical models.
Must be able to drive to multiple locations independently; a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license are required.
Residence in the Orlando/Tampa area is strongly preferred for ease of travel.
