Job Description
Our west coast client is seeking SAP FPSL Techno-Functional Consultants to support upcoming enterprise financial transformation initiatives within large healthcare/payor environments.
These projects are expected to focus on insurance accounting modernization, financial products subledger implementations, regulatory reporting, and SAP finance platform integration efforts.
The ideal consultant will possess a blend of SAP technical and functional expertise, along with experience supporting insurance or healthcare payor organizations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger) implementation, enhancement, and integration initiatives
* Collaborate with finance, accounting, business, and technical teams to gather and translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
* Assist with insurance accounting and financial reporting workflows
* Participate in configuration, integration, testing, and production support activities
* Support financial transformation initiatives related to IFRS17, subledger processing, and enterprise SAP modernization
* Work across technical and functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve system performance
* Assist with data mapping, reconciliation, and interface validation between SAP and upstream/downstream systems
* Support project planning, documentation, and stakeholder communication activities
Required Qualifications
* Strong SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger) experience
* Experience working in techno-functional SAP roles
* Background supporting SAP Finance / FI-CO environments
* Experience within insurance, healthcare payor, or financial services organizations
* Understanding of financial accounting and reporting workflows
* Experience supporting large enterprise SAP transformation initiatives
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
* IFRS17 experience
* SAP Insurance Analyzer experience
* SAP FS-CD experience
* SAP S/4HANA Finance experience
* Experience with integrations and financial data mapping
* Prior consulting experience within large enterprise environments
