Senior Back-End Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join a fast-moving engineering team building scalable, high-impact systems that power critical platform capabilities. This role sits within a cybersecurity-focused environment, offering the opportunity to contribute to secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services used at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and scale backend services and microservices that support high-availability systems

• Develop clean, efficient code using Python and/or Golang

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions

• Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and performance optimizations

• Help build secure systems that support authentication, authorization, and access control

• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best engineering practices

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of backend development experience

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or Golang

• Experience building and operating microservices architectures (2–3+ years)

• Solid understanding of databases and SQL, with hands-on production experience

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (2+ years)

• Strong knowledge of concurrency (multithreading or multiprocessing)

• Passion for building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts

• Experience with authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML)

• Familiarity with message queues like Kafka

• Experience with distributed data tools such as Spark or Hive

• Understanding of secure coding practices or security-focused systems
