Director, Information Technology (Remote with possible travel)
6-month contract with intention of converting to FTE

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

Job Overview:
The Director of IT is responsible for overall operational IT leadership of the organization.  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or equivalent relevant combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of management experience leading technical teams.
  Minimum ten (10) years of progressive growth in field.
  Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications (Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP).
• Knowledge of Network Security infrastructure (Firewalls, Proxy Servers, VPN concentrators) a plus.
• Expertise in budget planning and financial management.
• Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
• Advanced understanding of infrastructure technologies - server, database, network, storage, security, and management technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to the IT team.
• Successful leadership abilities with the focus on bringing people together to execute needs.
